Abstract
This research examined the relationship between information security precepts and organizational performance in telecommunication companies in Rivers State. Confidentiality, integrity and availability were conceptualized as the dimensions of the independent variable, service quality and profitability were adopted as measures of the dependent variable while the study had technological infrastructure as moderating variable. The study used the cross-sectional survey in its investigation of the variables. Primary source of data was generated through self- administered questionnaire. The population of the study was 113 employees from the four major telecommunication companies in Rivers State, Nigeria. Given that the population size is small and can be adequately covered, the study sample size is the same as our population which is 113.
