This is because records are made up of information generated across the various activities of an organization which can serve as finality or data for further processing; hence, records provide decision makers with information relating to every aspect of any organizations. Supporting this, Igbokwe-Ibeto (2013) noted that records contain the information that supports organizations functioning; supports decision making, support administration of plans or programmes and providing administrative continuity with past operations.
