Abstract

Information in organization is mostly maintained and enhance through effective records management. This is because records are made up of information generated across the various activities of an organization which can serve as finality or data for further processing; hence, records provide decision makers with information relating to every aspect of any organizations. Supporting this, Igbokwe-Ibeto (2013) noted that records contain the information that supports organizations functioning; supports decision making, support administration of plans or programmes and providing administrative continuity with past operations.
