Abstract

This paper reports on some innovative ideas and methods for practicing technology enhanced learning (TEL) of science through remote laboratory (RL) system. Science teaching and learning has for long had hands-on activities playing a central role. However, financial and practical constraints could sometimes limit access to hands-on activities in the laboratories. The internet-based RL system enables learners to control and observe the server-side laboratory equipment as well as perform real-time scientific investigation activities as distant places (RL).
