Abstract

The study examined the relationship between coaching strategy and beahvioural adaptability of multinational oil companies in Rivers State. The study concluded that coaching is a viable tool through which organizations can strengthen the adaptability of their employees. This finding of the study underscores the strategic importance of investing in comprehensive workforce development programs as a means to build a resilient, agile workforce capable of adapting to the evolving demands of the oil sector, ultimately driving organizational success and sustaining competitiveness in a volatile industry.Therefore, it was recommended amongst others that multinational oil companies in Rivers State should design training programmes that cover technical skills, leadership development, safety protocols, and industry-specific knowledge, thereby boosting their cognitive and affective adaptabilities, and as well as the overall performance of the organization.
