Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the concept of digital infrastructure and organizational performance. The study was conceptualized given the dimensions of workplace digital infrastructure as digital conferencing, electronic payment systems and cloud interfacing platforms, while measures of organizational performance are financial performance, bank reputation and customer service. The study used descriptive design. The population for this study comprised of all the 20 deposit money banks licensed to operate in Nigeria and are operational in Port Harcourt which also served as the sample size. A structured questionnaire was distributed to respondents. Mean, Standard deviation and percentages were used to analyze responses from the questionnaire

No Imageswhile regression analysis was used to test hypothesis. For the data analysis, SPSS (23.0) was used. The findings of this research revealed that workplace digital infrastructure has statistically significant influence on organizational performance. The study thus, concludes that workplace digital infrastructure is a measure of the organizational performance of deposit money banks in Rivers state. Based on this finding a number of recommendations were made among which is; Employers should sponsor and organize training and refresher courses on office skills as to help employees improve on their skills and be more competent.
