PRIMARY HEALTH CARE DELIVERY: THE NEED FOR CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES FOR SUSTAINABLE HEALTHY LIVING IN NIGERIA

The study discussed Primary Health Care Delivery (PHCD): the Need for Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSRs) for sustainable Healthy Living in Nigeria. In doing this, it x-rayed a definitive analysis of Primary Health Care (PHC), PHC services and fundamental challenges of PHC services delivery in Nigeria. Apart from this, the study also explained corporate organizations and their ethical social practices/guiding principles on CSR choices. The study also delineated the CSRs (in terms of PHC services) they deliver to Nigerians. Additionally, it expounded the need for corporate organizations’ CSRs which include community-based enlightenment on safe hygiene alongside maternal and infant immunization programmes in PHC, in order to achieve sustainable healthy living in Nigeria.
