INFORMAL GROUP ACTIONS IN NIGERIAN WORK ORGANIZATIONS: ARE THEY EVOLUTIONARY OR REVOLUTIONARY?

Abstract

Informal group actions in organizations are contributory factor to their effective operations and performance. However, in context of Nigeria, workers in organizations tend to portray their actions either in evolutionary or revolutionary stance. Evolutionary and revolutionary actions of workers cannot be undermined as they level at which it is practiced tell of the organization’s effectiveness. Therefore, this work explore on informal group actions in Nigerian work organizations with focus to their evolutionary or revolutionary tendencies.
