Abstract

The study examines how lean management practice enhances organizational success. The objectives of the study were to examine how Andon support system and value stream mapping enhances organizational success. Based on the objectives the study reviewed extant related literature on lean management practice and organizational success. The study found that Andon support system and value stream mapping enhance organizational success. Therefore, the study concluded that failure to use Andon support system and value stream mapping affect organizational success. Hence, the study recommended that Management should use Andon support system such Automated defect detection, Capacity utilization, Continuous improvement as control mechanism in lean management to achieve organizational success in terms of business growth and profitability. Management should use value stream mapping such as supply chain, product flow, information flow and waste elimination to attain organizational success in terms of business growth and profitability.
