QUALITY CIRCLE AND ORGANIZATIONAL PERFORMANCE IN SMEs IN PORT HARCOURT
Abstract
This study examined employee participation and organization performance. Specifically, this work sought to find out the extent to which quality circle enhance employee innovation in SMEs in P/H. A population of 136 including managers and employees in selected SMEs in Port Harcourt guided the study. The population was manageable, thus,
the entire population was used for the study. Nine research questions and hypotheses were answered and tested at 0.05 level of significance. The instrument that guided the study was a survey questionnaire tagged: Mean and Standard Deviation was used to answer the research questions while multiple regression was used to analyse the research hypotheses. The study found that quality circle is variables that can positively or significantly affect organizational productivity
