Integrated Science is seen as teaching the sciences in a unifying form. The general objectives of Integrated Science Education observed by professionals include to: produce men and women in different fields of endeavor who are imaginative, practical, creative, humble and dedicated to the service of humanity; contribute through researches and practical professional practices towards solving various scientific, technological environments, socio-cultural, economic and other problems of Nigeria and humanity at large; make substantial high quality contribution to academics and knowledge through research publications and other forms of dissemination of knowledge and train, attain and maintain the possible standard in the quality of our teaching, research outputs and services. Ozoji (2010) describes Integrated Science as a core course at the junior secondary school and a foundation for the study of science courses at the senior secondary school and tertiary levels of education in Nigeria. Thus, Integrated Science is seen as an approach to looking at nature in its totality. This implies that teacher or an instructor of Integrated Science must be up to date, current and sound in knowledge to be effective in the subject curriculum implementation in classroom.
