Abstract

There has been a considerable debate in recent times concerning the need for strong corporate governance with the right mix of board of directors, with countries around the world drawing up guidelines and codes of practice to strengthen governance for enhanced financial performance. This study examined the relationship between board composition and financial performance of listed deposit money banks in Nigeria.
