Abstract

The thesis paper examined the impact of record keeping in the management of students with hearing impairment in Plateau state school for the Deaf Bassa. Ten (10) respondents were drawn from a population of twenty nine (29) students with hearing impairment. Two research questions and one hypothesis were use formulated to guide the study. Survey research design was adopted, structure questionnaire was utilized as the instrument, Frequency count and mean was used as the statistical method. The study indicated that poor funding disconnected the administrators from efficient record keeping, lack of enough office space, lack of facilities such as shelves, computers. The following recommendations were presented; NGO should support the schelves for record keeping, , Government should provide facilities such as power plant, computer and funds.
