Abstract

The purpose of this study was to empirically examine the relationship between value co-creation and business success of deposit money banks in Port Harcourt. The study adopted cross-sectional survey design in accessing the study’s elements. While the study’s population comprised of senior staff of deposit money banks, a total of 105 personnel were judgmentally administered copies of questionnaire. Information retrieved through this means were analysed with regression analysis tool and results revealed that co-design and co-learning have a strong and positive correlation with business success. The study therefore concludes that value co-creation was a veritable tool to improve business success. Based on the findings and conclusion, the study recommends that deposit money banks that want to improve customer traffic and profitability to ensure that clients’ were actively involved or carried along in the service design process as information from clients’ are vital for seamless service experience for all stakeholders.
