Abstract

The corruption in the health and electricity sectors spread almost in all areas. This paper examined the corruption in governance linking to health and electricity infrastructure development. Corruption is a huge problem to achieving both health and energy goals. Investigations were carried out on the causes of corruption in the health sector as well as the reasons why corruption persist in the electricity umpire. Two objectives and hypotheses were given respectively. The study applied the survey method of which interviews and structured questionnaires were administered to 400 respondents using the accidental sampling technique to collect data. The study relied both on primary and secondary data. Data analyzed are shown on tables using a statistical tool. Recommendations were made amongst which is government should compel electricity service distributor to provide prepared meters to the public to discourage corruption.
